Agartala, 08 February 2021: All Tipra Indigenous Student Association (ATISA) sat for demonstration for the second near Swami Vivekanda maidan (Astabal Maidan) on demand for the immediate inclusion of Kokborok language in eight schedule of Indian constitution with Roman scripts in writing Kokborok.

Kokborok language is one of the official languages of Tripura along with Bengali since 1979.

Kokborok language has been taught in the state from primary level to higher secondary stage in the schools since the 1980s.
